My pet’s breath really smells bad. Is there anything I can do that doesn’t require a visit to the vet?

Foul smelling breath can be caused by tooth abscesses or dental disease. It is often worth a trip to see us to determine if your pet is in pain from a broken or infected tooth. We highly recommend preventive dental care in the form of either brushing your pets’ teeth at your own home, or feeding a diet that is formulated for your pets’ teeth. We carry antiseptic toothpaste that is applied directly to the gums and does not require tooth brushing action. We also stock regular veterinary toothpaste.
